Hi Bill:
Lots of captures, but nothing really new - ( have seved everything in folder
though ! )however I was able to copy Jay (VD) through the overnight period
on Thursday - and continuing sporadically right through until the noon hour
- very, very unusual propagation.
Reminds me of the time that we did a 24 hour session with you - last year.
It would appear that the band is really getting prepped for a great season.
The past two mornings, the noise floor around 6AM - 8AM has been so low that
there is no indication on the S Meter - so that I check to see that I might
have disconnected the antenna ? ? Usual noise level runs about 10-15 dB
above that.
I just put up a new K9AY - pointing E-W - working nicely - and has a wider
beamwidth than the loop - so should include NC in its path.
