No, it's not exposed to the rain but it wasn't entirely sealed either. It is
possible that moisture is condensing there.
The current configuration is east/west. The upper end of the west leg is
lower than I would like, giving somewhat of a diamond shape on that side.
Shooting a higher line in the trees has proven difficult. Although the tree
is on my property, the projectile lands on the neighbor's back yard where
the kids play. This searcher has learned his lesson from the Great Teacher
and is careful when it comes to the safety of neighbor's children. <WAG>
