I looked for his site and found a link from the LWCA resources but it's
dead.

However, I found that the June, 1999, _Monitoring Times_ had an
article, "EXP-1750 transceiver kit." Although three years ago--Three!
Yrs!, Yeeks, how time flies--it may have info on its then-future
availability and utility for LowFER.
