[Lowfer] I-COM 706 Mrk ll

Well I am happy to report I got my 706 and so for am very pleased with it.
  As soon as it arrived and i read the operating manual just enough to get
it on LOWFER freq., I tuned to 236 KC, my standard Air weather station on AM
in La. about a 100 miles and their it was 20db over. then i went to 60 KC
and their was that station not as strong but readable.
All i need is a LOWFER beacon within range and i am ready to go.
The CW tone is set to 600 cps and shows up right on 600 with ARGO. I might
add that it is selectable in 10 cps steps.
besides that my VHF/UHF Conical receiving antenna tunes up on 2 mtr and 440
with very little SWR.
It going to take me some time to figure out all the bells and whistles.
