Greetings, I'm new to the list.
I recently acquired a vintage 1944 National RBL-6 receiver, that covers =
15 kHz to 620 kHz. It's basically a 7-tube Navy TRF receiver with =
regenerative detector, that weighs 75 lbs! =20
I'm fixing it up now. It's a "9", but needs the usual capacitors and =
resistors.
My question is, does anyone else use a receiver of this type? I bought =
it because I was never satisfied with the low-band reception on my ICOM =
R-70 (and because it looks so cool). Can I expect better performance =
than my R-70?
