Hi Allan,
Have a look at Lyle's (K0LR) site for more information that you can read in
a night http://www.computerpro.com/~lyle/. He has simple and affordable
designs for beacon transmitters. I am building up 3 of the Epson based
transmitters next week. Two will be for LF and one for the Hifer band.
Welcome aboard and you will find this group as a personal and very
technically informed gathering. I believe that these people are the best of
the hams and non-hams working together like a family. Let us know how much
space you have for antennas and if you have any trees or not where the
antenna would go. Trees hurt verticals on LF and loops get along great with
trees on LF. I use a loop in a couple of trees.
