Hey Stewart,

You appear to be doing it right, looks like there's a problem. The
negative results may be a limitation of that lookup site, the wrong freq
entered - even a mis-copied ID. I'm not questioning the ID, however.
Given Roger's information, I, too, couldn't find it. But that could have
been due to inaccurate info, I don't know. However, I then tested the
lookups on NDBs I knew of locally and found them. So ...

Let's see if others can offer better advice and possibly point us at a
more inclusive Web site.

I see that Mitch Powell has located a probable match for Roger and
RD/355, ref. his list posting.

Hi Peter and all,

I'm having trouble finding this NDB info. Can someone please
tell me what I am doing wrong?

Following the links from the LWCA site, it takes me to
http://www.airnav.com/navaids/ . Is this the right site?
On that site, if I search for "RD", it only shows an NDB on
411 kHz in Oregon. Searching for "355" shows only AK, CGE,
and TCO. Nothing plausible on 354 or 356. Finally, I clicked
the Airports tab, entered "Reading", and selected KRDG.
It shows seven nearby NDBs, but none are near 355, or have IDs
similar to "RD".

73,

Stewart
