Subject: [Lowfer] TX Loop response to changing soil conditions
Just a little comment on WA's loop current under two extremes in soil
conditions: Yesterday began with 4" of very wet snow, which mostly melted in
yesterday's 45 deg temps, making the ground very damp and the antenna
current 14% lower than my highest readings. The temp this morning is 20deg F
and the antenna current is up to the readings I get after a dry spell. Must
be the result of a thin layer of frozen soil.
