From my limited experience with PSK31 I believe the signal needs to be
close to the audible threshold level for it to decode. When Walt, WI,
was on years ago we had a consistent CW grade 150 mile path between us.
PSK31 would have been solid copy with his daytime signal I feel sure.
Lloyd in Md. is the nearest station that I am aware of that has tried to
copy my PSK31 signal. His is about 340 miles from me so it would
probably take extremely good conditions for PSK31 to made this path.
