Hi
I would like to join the Hifer gang but the swedish regulations do not
allow intentional radiation on 13.55 MHz although unintentional
radiation of several kilowatts *is* allowed when drying wood, welding
toothpaste tubes etc. How stupid...
No one would ever notice if I released a tiny milliwatt signal on 13.55
(in all that noise from huge free running tube oscillators) but I prefer
to stay within the law.
On the other hand, our ham regulations are now very relaxed - almost
nothing more than "stay within the band and power limits and everything
will be OK". "Unattended transmission is not recommended except for
beacons and ***experimental stations***"...
So, what about Hifer operation in the 14 MHz band? For example, just
above the IBP protection window 14.099 - 14.101 (yes, I just found a
junkbox rock that oscillates on 14.10108 in my test osc :~).
Question 1:
Will anyone be listening/watching?
If the answer is yes:
Question 2:
What is the preferred format? QRSS3? DFCW? Chainsaw?
