Hi Jay,
Yes I am here. Just sorting through several days of email. I've been
very busy lately, some work but mostly other things. I worked the VHF
contest weekend before last. This past week and weekend was busy due to
my oldest son's (KC4FWC) wedding which was out of town. I'm now
preparing for field day coming up this weekend.
I figured I had better put NC Hifer back on to keep claim of the
frequency. Sure nice to see all the new activity and nice to see the
beacons bunched close in frequency. NC was sending QRSS3 for several
days until a small dip relay in the keying circuit failed. Not having
time to change it I just activated the Jaws, pyramid, or Charlie Brown
pattern. The signal is +1 dbm from a W/G SLM tracking generator to a
dipole above the building roof. Thanks for the report.
