Hi John

In fact the Amrad antenna does a nice job up through the HF bands. 
Mine is down just now for a relocation and a rest HI. Comparing it to my
shielded loop on 160 
it presents more signal than the loop and is almost as quiet. That was
based on a one time
AB listen test and not a real good test. It also works well in Sub Space
but is pretty noisy
whilst in warp. Something to do with red shift
