many thanks for your efforts and the screen shots! It is evident that my
signal is way too strong. Even the keying sidebands from the 20 wpm
ID is clearly visible in the last screenshot!
Was it ever audible or only visible?
In an earlier message I found your locator as FN43SV, is that correct?
According to my GPS, the distance is 5690 km from my QTH at JO67MR.
This means 707e3 miles per watt @ 5 mW... I'll put the -7 dB pad back
in the feedline to see if that number can be improved :-)
I'll look for U.S. Hifers for a few hours so my beacon will QRT at =
1730Z.
It will be back on the air with 0dBm no later than local midnight =
23.00Z.
In case I manage to copy your signal, what do you think about a 20m/22m
crossband QSO?
