Since oddball observations occasionally yield valid scientific data, I offer
the following:

I set up argo captures of 166.5 for Sunday night. About 6:30 AM (EST) Monday
morning, three signals started showing up on the freq. I have to look
closely but I am sure I have BAT and, possibly NC. The third is keyed but I
cant make anything out of it.

It is weird that I suddenly would get BAT after sunrise here in New
Hampshire.

I went out to my car and discovered that the FM band was experiencing quite
a "lift". It was not open for great DX but other stations in New England
that share local freqs were clobbering the locals.

Anyone want to speculate on a correlation?
