OK, who has a schematic of the LW-MAX??? I need one desperately and Marko
said that none exist.

Les:

I'll think about it more but the thing that bothers me the most is that you
can't stop a message once it has started. You have to play through to the
end. It would be nice if all the buttons/functions took effect immediately.

>From my look at the schematic, phase shift keying seems to be out of the
question but I think that DFCW would be a good mode to request.<

Finally, I would ask for a programmatic interface so that we non-VB folks
can hook into the drivers. Even a command-line interface would work for me
although a real API would be best.

I'll be glad to share costs.

I've found a very bright Visual Basic programmer here in Birmingham who is
willing to tackle upgrading the software for the LW Max transmitter.

At this point, I've asked him to allow the user to modify the dot length,
with
settings variable from 1 second to 240 seconds. I think this is a better
idea than having "modes" such as QRSS60, etc.

It might be possible to vary the TX frequency slightly, similar to the
sawtooth
pattern that WA transmits. I'm going to ask him to look into that as well.
If so,
it would become a "mode" that the user could select.

While I'm at it, does anyone else on the list have suggestions or requests?
(Even
if you don't use the transmitter). I'll have to cover the costs out of my
pocket, so
I'd rather incorporate everything on our "wish list" now.
