You can use either mode. Just make sure you know your BFO frequency and
enter it in the RX center frequency box under the options button. The
default offset is 800hz. You will have to listen to a time standard signal
like WWVB @ 60kc if you can and calibrate the Jason band view window, now
move your mouse pointer over the window and you will see that it turns into
a crosshair. Put the crosshair over the signal trace and left click the
mouse. This will center Jason's receive window. You should be good to go
now.
