[Lowfer] New List

I would have to second John's comments. Even though I am one who falls
into the "everything via e-mail" camp...I have to believe that any problems
with the QTH.net list server are temporary.
And in the meantime, posting to the LWCA web board is the best alternative.
For that matter, it would always be a good idea to post any beacon changes
to the LWCA web board and to this list.
But I have to believe that adding yet another list for us all to monitor simply
fragments the hobby more.
Your intentions are good...but I think the idea is flawed. In times of
frustration,
I too have thought about starting other lists. My personal interest is in
weak signal work...I get annoyed with those who want to run CW beacons,
SSB nets, or AM broadcasting on 1750 meters, but Lyle and others
have convinced me that there is room enough for all our interests, and that
our numbers are too small to fragment them further into camps.
Instead, I urge you to monitor the delivery times for a few days and then let
the folks at qth.net know that we have a problem.
Thanks for caring enough to do something...
