XM will be on 24/7, without interruptions for the next six days
while I am in Lexington, KY on business. Please listen for
it on 184.898khz.
This morning Mitch Powell copied it in Canada at a distance of 736 miles.
Looking at his screen captures, the signal was strong all night but
very readable after local sunrise until I switched the beacon off at
0640 CST for a MARS net.

Hoping that Steve can log the beacon this weekend from Mayne Island and
add XM to the 2000 mile club...we're up to 16 states and 31 grid squares
now...I'd love to add more.
The beacon is running QRSS60, and the stealth counterpoise seems to be
working fine. I've got new QSL cards ready for those who can log it, along
with a special goody for the first reception over 2,000 miles. Let's just say
that you won't be disappointed!
So if you're out West, way up in Canada, or somewhere near South America
get your ears on! (ha, ha)
