In physics one uses metric measure, and in the CREG Journal we do the same.
If an author submits an article in imperial measure we convert things but we
ask him or her if they would like the feet and inches still to be shown.
That way, the editorial team needs to be dual-standard but the author and
the readers do not. BTW, I haven't used Fahrenheit temperatures for over 40
years.

 In 1971 the UK introduced decimal currency and price "adjustments" tended
to occur.  On the first of January this year 12 member states of the
European Union switched from their own individual currencies to the euro.
