Both Argo and Spectran use intensively the floating point unit of the CPU, in addition
to the HighPerformanceCounter hardware register.
It is my understanding that the Cyrix CPU has some differences in the implementation
of this latter, and of some functions of the FPU.
So I would suggest to switch to a Pentium or Athlon CPU. Personally, I have two PCs,
one with a 900 MHz Pentium III, and the other with an AMD Athlon 750 MHz CPU.
Both work great.
