The most consistent set of good LF conditions usually occurs within a week
or two either side of the winter solstice. However, there can be openings
well into March and beyond. Last year there was a flurry of WOLF activity
among LowFERs which didn't really get into full swing until about March 1.
Here are just a selected few WOLF mode reception reports from last year's
postings to the reflector:

March 2 -- XM received by Stewart Nelson in NV

March 13 -- VA3LK copied in NV

March 19 -- M0MBU received by John Andrews in MA (first transatlantic WOLF
reception)

March 28 -- LEK received by Dex in NC

Apologies for all the reports I omitted; I was too lazy to make a
comprehensive list.
