Allow me to congratulate you for taking the time to talk to radio
clubs about LF. I'm not sure exactly why you wouldn't "count"
digital mode receptions since they far exceed what is possible
by CW, and operating lowfer beacons in CW mode (if weak signal
reception is your goal) would be kind of silly at this point.

In light of my earlier post, I'm not really sure what a truthful response
to that question might be. Certainly CW receptions from beacons
that are likely to be "self-policed" have been made out to
around 800-1000 miles.
