In reply to my multi-coil query, Chris provides an interesting Italian
site for information on LF coils. "Very Interesting."

Wow! That a visual feast--both geographically and RF. It was new for
me. Good show, Chris.

Claudio, the site master, operates UHF and microwave from the
picturesque mountains of N. Italy with his brother Nicola. He seems to
have above average skills for his age, including a LF loading coil w/
Vari that could choke a horse. The former took some skill as this
picture will show.

Just what I needed and the calculator was working. I tried it though
didn't verify the result for a single coil vs. the AWG pgm.

Check out this site for info on calculating the mutual inductance on a
variometer.  This could be used to get the values for a 2 layer coil. 
I
could not get the page to calculate for me, said error on page, but it
may
be working now.  If I recall there was a link to more information
there
also.
