Doesn anyone know when the present part 15 rules pertaining to the
160-190kHZ range came into effect? Regarding the transmission line
business, I always wondered if this part of the rule was because in the
"old days" it was common to feed an antenna (flat top or cage) with a
single wire feed that, of course, radiated too. In these days with coax
feed that doesn't radiate, it doesn't make much sense to say the feed line
length has to be included.
