that when in the throws of construction. Nice work on the details, esp
that vari-coil.

I share your concerns of the black pvc, though.

I just built a quick-and-dirty loading coil and variometer for testing
antennas.  It's not the best coil possible, by any means, but it was
cheap, fast to construct, and it works.
