Hi Lyle,
Thanks for the comment, But there seems to be a difference in the above
w.r.t that of Bowers on mag wire spacing. Can this be reconciled
empirically? The Bowers reference suggests "coil turns as close as
possible." Although it doesn't say "touching," that could be inferred by
"close[ness]." Two wire diameters is quite a large departure from that
in the Bowers notes.
