I managed a project about three years ago where we used two PCI cards under
Windows NT.  It wasn't easy and it wasn't pretty but the coders pulled it off
for a while.  We finally wound up using both channels of the stereo card and
went back to one card because of the difficulties.  There may have been some
progress since then so you might check the Creative Labs web site as they are
heavy on some technical aspects of using their cards --- but nothing specialized
since their target market is the plug and play types.
