Al,

I don't know about the used one mentioned on the list, but the
new units sell for $99 dollars. They are capable of sending in
CW, and QRSS modes. Since the "radio" is software driven,
it may be possible to add other modes such as WOLF, JASON, etc.
in the future.

They are made by a company called "PCS-Electronics".

Click on products, then select "ham" and the page will come up.

Currently, I'm working with a stateside Visual Basic programmer,
who is modifying the software for better QRSS operation and
also trying to incorporate the new Jason mode.

I helped to develop and test the units, but have no financial interest
in them at all. I can recommend them.

Also, for a chip way to get on QRSS, you can purchase a CW ID chip
from:

www.k1el.com

It's called the K-ID chip, it sells for less than $10 bucks and can
be programmed in advance with your ID in QRSS. Just let them
know when ordering. You'll need a handful of other components to
make it work, but the whole thing can be put together in an afternoon
for less than $25 bucks.

And, just to get up to date on lowfering you might want to visit

Hope all this helps! Be looking for you on Monday!
