Guess the E/W pipe loop couldn't "stand the strain" after all. About
midnight the wind came up and caused the loop to break off at a joint. This
was not unexpected because this joint just happened to be located at one of
the two top corners and had a kink in it for about two months (think I
mentioned this to some earlier).
It's lucky I have a #12ga back-up wire already installed at an even better
location and should be able to connect and re-resonate by dark. With the sun
out it's like a crystal palace in the woods today, so this should be an
enjoyable experience (except for the ice chunks crashing on my head as I
work).
