Had corona fun in the Arctic - was at joint US/CDN weather station (78N
125W) for several years. Had  three 360 ft VEE beams. Very very dry up there
(at -60F) and during snowstorms, the wind and moving snow would create huge
voltage buildups on the antenna. Regularly drew 12-18" arcs off the antenna
insulators coming in the building.
