  all my best wishes also to you and yours and in 
general to all of the readers of this reflector for 
a prosperous New Year 2003.

The Notch filter in Spectran is one of the thing that 
will be implemented in the next release. 
It won't be a Notch filter as usually intended, but 
rather a band-stop filter, sort of a complement to the 
band-pass filter, where you will specify the lower and
upper limits of the band segment to reject.
