Almost all Lowfer operation at this point uses the Argo software. Mostly
slow-speed CW, with a little dual-frequency CW and graphical stuff like
MT-Hell. BPSK and WOLF have fallen by the wayside at bit. Would be nice to
get some of that operation going again. There has been no software
development of WOLF or other BPSK modes since you moved, as far as I know.
Jason was developed with two-way communication in mind. It takes more BW
than QRSS, but less than BPSK. It works on the difference in frequency
between successive audio tones. It is very effective on paths where QRSS10
would work, and provides real-time text copy.
The gang in the northeast has been congregating around 185.300 kHz, mostly
in QRSS30 mode. A bunch of the familiar names have disappeared, though.
