I finally copied LEK's new mode. Have been camped out on 182.200kHz
for 4 days looking for BRO and LEK. The billboard mode travels the
same distance as QRSS, a cool 1333 miles across the plains and
mountains to the desert. It is interesting that the temperature in the
Duluth/Aitkin area this morning is not as cold as the past few nights.
Also, I cannot copy BRO clearly, just bits and pieces. They only have
a 73 mile difference in their distance to me.
I think Lyle is right, MT-HELL mode is just as effective with weak
signals as QRSS when the band opens up.
Will have the captures up later. BZS will be on at 09:00 UTC.
