Mike,

I have WA off and I'm beginning to see one strapping signal at 185.2955! 
Watch the Vcc input current with that amp, hence input power. It will put 
out exactly the power that the load resistance reflected back from the loop 
dictates. You may have to increase the stepdown ratio pronto-quick!
