Hi Bill, et. al.:

I guess I had been reading the mail and somehow missed the fact that folks
were transmitting using loops. Just as an aside, how do the 50' by 50' lopes
fit into the 45' total wire limitation that used to be a part of Part 15?
(Maybe this is one of those "Don't ask, don't tell" things).

In case Lyle has departed for his radio camp and can't answer your post, the
"loopers" are four Lowfer beacon operators, WA, VD, TAG, and WE typically
operating at 185.300 through 185.303 (same order as the calls) using TX loop
antennas. And yes ... we do get a bit loopy at times <G>
