I think what you guys are describing is the Loopalalosis Virus. The infected 
person invariably goes out to his back yard and installs a big loop of wire 
encircling as many trees as the poor soul can manage (not to exceed a 
'maximum length of 15m' in the vertical and horizontal directions). Then he 
connects a mosquito powered black box to it and summons all his fiends to 
look for some kind of a pattern and their computer. ARGO what? 
..............  Sad hopeless situation. Please seek medical attention at the 
first sign of these symptoms!
