Just blank screens - or rather loaded with noise..... steady S8-S9 static
with very little letup over the evening/morning hours.
Same this morning (Thursday am ) I notice on the NDBs I use as reference
(checking the loop and receiver ) that they are slowly wiped out as the
evening progresses. They start as nice S8-S9 signals, then disappear slowly
under the rising noise level. The noise level just keeps rising as the
static level from storms over WI/MN start moving across the continent.
I will still be monitoring every evening through the weekend, and looks like
long-range quieter weather for next two-three days.....so keep truckin'
