Beware of those little blood-suckers. Around here, they carry the West
Nile virus. So far, we have had 3 or 4 confirmed deaths and about 80 +
confirmed cases this year, all within 100 miles of my QTH. The local
parish (county) bug patrol is spraying so much that it looks like it's
foggy if you go outside (cough, cough!) in the evening. So far, none of
the local environmentalists have said a word about it, and I doubt that
they will. No one around here likes mosquitoes, and now they can kill
you. Those little suckers bite day & nite, especially the ones that
carries West Nile. (It figures.) I've even seen folks put insect
repellent on their dogs.
