[LogPlus] LP and XP Pro

I have just moved LP version  4.7 over to another machine running XP 
Pro.
I went to acknowledge some qsl cards using option A,G. When I input the 
call and press F7 to acknowledge I get along beep from the internal 
speaker and the machine temporarily freezes up. The same thing happens 
when I enter a qso of a station I have worked a few times, and it brings 
up all the previous Qso's. I am pretty sure this is the program 
properties parameters within XP Pro and it seems to take a lot of the 
system resources up
Will LP work under XP Pro and does anybody have program properties?
