Greetings.

I've just posted the first beta version of the LOGPlus! For Windows
Telnet Client. There a still a few features which are not operational
but I'm sure you'll find that out quickly. From the main menu, you have
basically two areas you can select from Packet/Telnet and Utilities,
all other features have been turned off.

A few things you can/can't do.

	1. You can NOT change the location of any file. Run the
installation program and place it on your hard drive. The data files
are located in a directory called \LOGPlus\N7XR, you can't change it.
If you do, nothing will work.
	2. Do NOT change the callsign from N7XR under the Program
Parameter menu option. Again, nothing will work.
	3. Do NOT change the logplus.ini file. It will automatically
update as will other .ini files as the program goes through it's
processes.

	4. You MUST copy your WAZ.DBF and DXCC.DBF file into the
\LOGPlus\N7XR directory. After copying them, run the program and
immediately go to the utilities menu and Index all the databases. The
reason you are using your files here, is to see how the actual alarm
system works.

	5. When you select the Telnet Client, go immediately to the
Editor menu and select Site Editor. Scroll down to K4JA and modify the
connect script from N7XR to your call. If you want to set another
station as the default, you need to turn off the current default and use
the next/previous buttons to save the changes.

A few notes you must keep in mind -
	1. For some reason, K7AR who uses port 7300 as his default is
not working. Don't know why, since all the other ports are. Still
trying to figure this out.

	2. When you make a change to any selections under the Site
Editor, use the next/previous buttons to save the changes. Also, you
can only have ONE default connection. If you want to change it, make
sure you turn OFF the one I have selected K4JA.

I've placed a few .WAV files in the \LOGPlus\Waves directory. Most are
just cartoon type waves for the humor side of it. I'm trying to create
good sounding waves for the actual alerts. I'm not very creative with
audio or sound very good. I'm going to find a sexy female (and male for
those of you who like the manly voices) to come up with some good
sounding audio.

Known problems -
	1. Grab Dx is not working. I've not programmed it yet.
	2. Most of the buttons in the Spot Browser are not functional.
	3. Iota and Grid displays are not turned on yet.
	4. The MGR button is not working. I've not programmed it yet.
	5. The Messages button is not working. I've not programmed it
yet.
