Hello Bob

Here is a list over facilities that it would be nice to have in the program. Item 4 and 5 are errors.

1. Update from confirmed to submit/accepted
It would be nice if you introduced the possibility with status update for all the awards as you have in DXCC and WPX. From confirmed to submitted and submitted to accepted. Also in Generic Awards. I have just updated 550 QSO’S in the manual way from confirmed to accepted in one of my generic awards. Puh.

2. Call book CDROM Search
If I want to make a Call book search on my CD-ROM then the space is too small. Try e.g. to search on my call OZ5MJ. You can see that my call sign is not complete. After my name you can only see OZ5.

3. Generic Awards
In January you introduced the possibility to an easier way to access the different
awards with the Alt-keys. Is it possible to make an Alt-? to access the Generic Awards page?

4. Deleting DX-alerte
Here is an error I have found.
My LOG Plus is running 24 hours a day. I am connected to the cluster all the time.
I am normally using B> Terminal Mode.
Today I was standing in A> B> Logbook Management with Packet and I wanted to delete some old DX-alerts.
I pressed Alt F12 and then M>. Then I pressed H> Delete Outdated Information.
When it was done I was still in Logbook Management with Packet.
When the next spot came the program stopped and I got a pub up saying:
Error Base 1002 Alias does not exist: Prefixes
Quit or Retry
I tried several times and it is the same each time. I got the pub up.
I tried the same function in version 4.16. It is the same

5. Kure, Midway etc.
I can see that you have not solved the problems with:

W4M Midway
K5K Kingman
K7K Kure

If I enter K7K the text in Country is KH7 U.S.A. – AZ/AD/MT/NV/OR/UT/WA/WY, but the DXCC Country is correct KH7. The zone is also wrong (3) and so is the heading.

I have set the call sign in DXCC >D >F Call sign to Country Mapping correct. E.g. K7K is DXCC Country KH7. Zone=31.

6. Setting of RST
Here is a suggestion to a new function.

How it works today.
I am in Logbook management A> and then A> or B>. I do not have my interface to my PC active (Marked with Radio Off). When I enter the frequency and mode the Snt/Rcv is automatically set to 59 if the mode is SSB or 599 if the mode is CW or RTTY.
If I have my interface to my PC on (Marked with Radio On) the Snt/Rcv is not set automatically.

It would be a nice thing if 59 or 599 is set. Sometimes I forget to set them. Hi hi

73 de OZ5MJ Jens. I wish you and yours a good Easter Bob

PS: I have just installed Office 2000. It has an English dictionary. I hope my letters will be easier to read hi hi. Anyway please tell me if something has to be deepend.
