[LOGic] Unable to cut/copy & paste in comments

I tried everything I could within Windows and Logic8, short of reinstalling
the program, without success. What has me convinced it is within Logig8 is
that prior to my screwing around with the Logic8 many of its convoluted
settings, last week it was working fine. I believe I unknowingly may have
done to cause this condition.  I am not aware of any operating system
settings that disables cut/copy/paste capability. 
Very perplexing this issue continues unresolved. I still suspect there is
mischief in the program that will be resolved by reinstallation of the
original version and latest update. 
I will try this and report back. Peter, VK4IU, Thank you for your reply.

Cut and paste is a Windows facility.  LOGic simply takes advantage of it.

Cut and Paste will be documented in the Windows 8 Help system - as compared
to LOGic.

There are several ways to "cut and paste" in Windows.  What keys, what
method, were you using on this occasion?

Can you "cut and paste" in other programs - this email for example?

I know of no options in LOGic to change the behaviour of "cut and paste".

But ...

I you accidently hit the INS key, at the wrong time, Windows will switch
from "insert mode" to "overtype" mode, and affect your work in LOGic.

Does "overtype" "insert mode" "ring a bell" for you?

I am still using Logic8 and over the weekend during the ARRL DX SSB Contest
I found that all of a sudden, I was no longer able to copy and paste
comments. 
It is entirely possible that I may have accidentally & unknowingly tweaked
one of the program options to cause this to happen but I am not very
proficient with this program.
To me it is a bit overwhelming and very convoluted. I am using this with a
Dell Inspiron using Windows8. 
The HELP file search and index options are totally useless and do not
address my needs. 
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
