[LOGic] Logic 9

I've never had a problem importing/exporting a contest log to my desktop and then forwarding via e-mail.  Now however, it can't be done.  V9 is working perfectly using the legacy driver and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it?

G'Day Jim,

I agree there is a problem between N1MM, and LOGic using ADIF.  I too
uploaded my log to ClubLog.  Most of my 48 pages were to do with Russia,
Asiatic as compared to European and related to N1MM/LOGic/ADIF and the .CTY

The guys at ClubLog do a great job for the benefit of us all.

I note you are member of the Logic forum at HTTP://www.hosenose.com/forum

I am sure others would thank you, if, as you found the issues, you added a
topic with the necessary data changes to the LOGic Prefix/DXCC update forum
on the Logic forum -

http://hosenose.com/Forum/yaf_topics65_Prefix-and-Awards-Tables-Discussion-a
nd-Updates.aspx

Over time that would get the Prefix table more up to date for everyone, and
then you could remove your personal changes to the Prefix table.

What do you say?  Can you do it?

Thank you for the clublog tip.
I uploaded my log and got 48 pages of errors!!!!

One of the problems is N1MM and ADIF.
In N1MM I use an up to date .CTY file and my current contest score is
correct.
However, N1MM does not export the country to ADIF, when Logic sees the QSO
it applies its current definition.

For example:
I worked DP1POL during the ARRL CW DX contest.  N1MM correctly marked it as
Antartica.
When I imported the file, Logic said it was Germany.

There are too many crazy calls and exceptions to keep the Logic files
current.
It is too bad there is no easy way to import the N1MM .CTY files into Logic.

Well, I have my work cut out for me and in the future I will check with
clublog after each major import.

Jim

I have a suggestion that will help you folks. Join www.clublog.org, its
free. Upload your log and you will get an email reply telling you if there
are any errors in your log, like DXCC and such. The first time I did this I
had several .errors, some were the result of Logic and some were my fault.
Many DX Expeditions use this program.

Club Log gives you a clean count on awards and also gives you QSL info and
those you need for DXCC Challenge. Give it a try, .I am sure you will like
it.

A happy user of Logic 9!
