Hi Ray,

There is a very easy way to do this - change any field for a set of records
in your log.

A backup of your data is well advised before you do this. If you don't know
how to back/restore your log data - learn to do it before you do this.

Look in Tools, Advanced Database commands.

Type use log

Top left, the menu "Database Files", select Mass Change, replace Field
Contents.

The rest should be obvious.

You have a backup I'm sure. Care is needed with this.

If you need further Help, register at the forum and ask for Help.

Subject: [LOGic] large scale replacement of text

I need help with a procedure for replacing some erroneous info that got
mysteriously inserted into LOGic by a contesting program that I used last
weekend in the ARRL DX TEST. I need to replace the incorrect callsign that
was put in the "Operator" field with my correct callsign. This would be
necessary for close to 300 qsos, so I am hoping there is a quick and easy
way to do it.

LoTW will not take my data until I make the changes.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

73,

Ray, K9XE
