[LOGic] LOGic hangs up when entering new contact

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
 
I am running LOGic 9.0.19 on Windows 7 Home Premium (Serv Pack 1) 64 bit machine.  It is 1.5 yrs old.  I am running the CAT feature and the computer and radio appear to be talking to each other just fine.
 
Here is a description of the issue, which seems to be happening more regularly:
 
I click on the plus to add a contact, type the callsign in and hit <Tab>.  The cursor jumps to the Name field and I see the little blue circle moving around.  That may be indicating that it is using one of the Callbook lookup tools, because the qth and grid info is filled in when everything is functioning ok.  But frequently the cursor is no longer visible, no info is filled into any of the fields, and I see "LOGic 9 (Not Responding)" across the top window banner.
 
My only option at that point is to use Task Manager to close LOGic and then relaunch it.
 
Any ideas?
