[LOGic] Logic9 and K3

Can anyone comment how the K3 interface works in Logic9.

I'm using the TS-850 as the rig in Logic8 and I always have to select 
the station twice to get the correct mode on the rig.  I'm hopeful that 
Logic9 resolves this.
