[LOGic] Logic9 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit?

Anyone have success with this?
I'm running Logic9, latest update, on a 4 GB, 4 core, Windows 7 Ultimate
64 bit system with service pack 1 installed. Logic9 is installed in the
Program Files (x86) directory, but this was the default. Logic8 is
installed at C:/logic8.
My main issue is that when sending programmed CW messages with the
WinKey form, some text will stutter or random characters will be sent.
Some of the messages transmit fine, others I can count on to never send
properly. TU 5NN KY5G will always add a lot of garbage between the 5NN
and KY5G and also at the end. Really confuses the DX!
I can run Logic8 on the same system, with the same CW memories
programmed exactly the same way and it works just fine. Other programs
using the K1EL WinKeyer work fine.
If i type a message into the transmit window (especially the TU 5NN...
message) and then hit enter to send it, it will fail just like if i use
a CW memory. But, using live keyboard character by character
transmission works fine.
Very occasionally I'll see a WinKey initialization error when opening
the WinKey form. The error occurs regardless whether this error message
displays, or not.
I've always had issues across various computers going back to Logic7
with random crashes--usually after getting a warning box requiring a
click to continue/abort/ignore. Clicking any option causes Logic to
crash, but this is not frequent on Logic8, though frustrating when it
does happen. However it is more frequent on Logic9 on this system.
I use the US Navigator USB interface for rig control, sound, and it
contains the K1EL keyer.
I run Logic9 on another Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit system at a separate
QTH and it runs much better there. The K1EL keyer is also USB and it
has no problems with Logic9.
So, I'm wondering if anyone is running Logic9 on a Win7 64 bit system
successfully, or with issues, and if anyone has thoughts or suggestions?
What I've tried:
Force Logic9 to use only one core by setting the core affinity.
Turned core parking off (registry)
Tried running with admin privs (this is an admin account normally)
Tried setting XP sp2 compatibility mode
Set the COM8 (USB) port latency from 16 ms to 1 ms
Reprogrammed my CW messages
None of the system logs show anything pertinent.
Thanks,
Ken, KY5G
