Subject: [LOGic] Problem With Auto Callbook

Hello,

I just recently purchased LOGic 8, and am having my first problem.

When I enter a call sign and press Tab, no callbook information is
displayed. This even occurs for US call signs. Also, no callbook form
opens.

Here is what I have checked:
1. On the Log menu, I went to SETUP and clicked on CALLBOOK. I made
sure the AUTO CALLBOOK LOOKUP was checked Yes. I also have AUTOMATICALLY
LOG NAME AND OTHER OPTIONAL QSO INFO checked, as well as the boxes below.

2. On the FORMS menu, when I open the CALLBOOKS window, I get a window
that is titled CALLBOOKS. The CALL and MANUAL SELECT are empty as is the
large white box that takes up about one-half of the CALLBOOKS form. If I
manually enter a US call sign and click on the GET button, the call sign
info is properly displayed in this window (apparently, the internal data
base can be accessed). However, a foreign call sign comes back with the
message "not found."
a. When I select SETUP from this window, the first 9 entries (starting
with LOGic) are not disabled. QRZ is also not disabled. The address for
QRZ is http://www.qrz.com/db/(call). The remainder of the databases are
disabled. The box next to NO AUTO WEB LOOKUP is not checked. When done, I
click on OK.

I have read the help information on this subject and watched the video, but
can't find what I am doing wrong. I have also rebooted my computer, and
made sure I am connected to the Internet. Nothing helps.

I would really appreciate some help!

Thanks,

Wayne KK6BT
