[LOGic] K3 Support - TRXManager

Every amateur radio operator determines how they invest their resources in
the hobby personally. That is why some of us bust the pileups first, some
of us ragchew, and some handle traffic during emergencies. I will offer
some solutions to achieve what you want to accomplish, but you determine how
you spend your bucks.
My recommendation to Dennis is to continue to invest his time in the
database side of the equation and offload the rig control part of this to
Laurent, who is doing a great job. I think it is a great open opportunity.
In fact, if you look at the openness of Logic, you will find Dennis still
supports a variety of approaches to things like cluster management through
DX Telnet, which I asked him to continue to support and he did. Fabrizio
then wrote a 32-bit version that runs under Win-7 x64. He is integrated
with stuff I don't even own because it is outside of my interest. How good
is that!
By the time I fully outfitted the shack with software, I have maybe $250 in
the total investment, and most of that doesn't require renewal or
maintenance fees except for upgrades. That is a pretty full suite of
propagation predictors, graphical prop maps and connectivity tools -- and
they have all proven productive to me as a DXer. In closing let me ask
everyone on the reflector the following question:
If you had to rank on a cost to reward ratio what allowed you to achieve
more of your desires in the hobby, what would that be? Transceiver,
amplifiers, software or antennas ... don't forget the cost, and I will bet
you all that software is underneath the noise floor in terms of cost, and at
the top of the heap in performance.

Yes. TRX Mgr works GREAT with the K3. But that is TRX MGR, Not Logic. So
for it to work right with Logic you want someone to buy TRX MGR too?
