[LOGic] K3 Support - TRXManager

Have any K3 owners tried out TRX-manager?  The K3 is in the dropdown box for
rig configurations.  I use that with Logic8, and it supports all the rigs I
have tried it with thus far, although a K3 isn't in that mix of tested
radios here.  It even hooks to a Flex 3000 through Omnirig.  I understand
that it is another piece of software to integrate and maintain, but I have
been in the technology business for a while now and every optimized solution
I have built for my clients resulted in a mix of ingredients to meet all of
the custom requirements -- and after all, no two shacks are the same as well
as the desires of any two amateur radio operators.

 

As far as a $90-ish pricetag, I will just echo what the old boy at Texas
Towers told me after I ordered my last antenna system:  "Hank, after you
have calculated the gain and front to back ratio, throw away your calculator
if you want to stay happy."  I did and I'm still happy.  Besides, if you
have a K3, you are probably not afraid of investing in your hobby's tool
chest.

 

What I like about Logic is that I know what I need to work and where to find
it for my favorite set of awards.  Without that capability, all of the other
things I have purchased to accomplish the awards goal would not be nearly so
effective.  I haven't found another log program that is that successful -
and the LOTW integration is absolutely seamless.
